Being at university can be quite a tough experience. You may find yourself feeling down, stressed or homesick. You may even sometimes feel very lonely and like you have no one to turn to when the going gets tough. It's important to remember that these feelings can sometimes be an indication of negative mental well-being and in some cases mental health - but don’t worry. Kingston university has many facilities available to its students who have concerns. Here is a list of where you can go if you have any concerns about your mental wellbeing or if you feel like you just need to talk to someone.
Online support service
Kingston university has an online support service called Silvercloud which has four programmes available to students at Kingston. These are managing anxiety, managing depression, body and self-image issues and stress. You can find out more about these here on the Silvercloud page.
You can also contact the university's health and well-being department either by phone or email if you want to learn more about the programmes available through Silvercloud.
